LUISPAREDES
Human Computer Interaction & Engineering
My research lies at the intersection of wearable technology, human-computer interaction, and extended reality (XR). I focus on developing innovative fabrication methods and design tools that empower users—regardless of their technical background—to create custom wearables with expert-level precision. By integrating advances in hardware, materials, and software, I explore novel sensing techniques that enable new interaction paradigms and expand how we experience and engage with XR environments.
